2 Cents and the Rainbow

What do you do when a Kung Fu master opens a candy store? Document it. 2 Cents and the Rainbow is a short documentary directed by LEAP Spark’s Brandon Faris. It explores the world of Reginald, a dime store owner, Kung Fu master, and an all together awesome dude. In 2001, following a period of civil unrest in Cincinnati’s Over the Rhine community, “Teacher” as he is lovingly called opened a candy shop. He introduced what he calls “The Rainbow” to a broken community. Reginald deserved a great documentary – the film was most recently awarded official selection at the 2013 Louisville International Film Festival.
